Dear Community Member,
The West Valley Arts Council presents the 2012 Diamond Ball. We’re celebrating with a lavishly themed masquerade ball called A Venetian Affair, featuring an elegant four-course feast, an array of stellar auction items, and dancing. We hope you’ll join us Saturday, March 10, at the Wigwam for this annual black-tie gala benefit for the arts.
For over 40 years, the West Valley Arts Council has been a source of internationally recognized performances, an advocate for arts and culture, and a champion of arts education throughout the region.
During these challenging economic times, the Arts Council has re-invented itself to focus more of our resources on arts education and advocacy. We are the organization who provides your child and thousands of other students with arts education opportunities each year and we’re dedicated to working with teachers, parents, and administrators to support, promote, and improve arts education in the West Valley.
The arts are good for business! We are an industry that spends money locally, generates government revenue, and develops tourism and economic vitality in our region. Investment in the arts brings jobs, and gaining jobs is the focus of economic development throughout the state.
Partnerships and connections make business successful. The Diamond Ball not only allows you an opportunity to be introduced to non-profit arts organizations and artists, but to other business leaders who value arts and culture in the region.
We need you to help us continue to bring concerts, art exhibitions, lectures, arts education, public art, and so much more to the West Valley. Even more importantly, our work that supports and develops the arts and culture sector is critical to our economic health.
I hope you’ll join us for this celebration of the arts!
With warm regards,
Julie A. Richard
