The Korean artist has evolved over decades of citizenship, and has brought to the western expression of art a new and fresh face. When you examine the art and eye of the modern Korean artist, one finds the choice of subject has moved into the mainstream of contemporary western art. However, the historical eastern selection of shape and color still have a place within the chosen expression.
The Arizona Korean Artist Association (AKAA) represents a diverse strata of the Korean artist community proving to be both contemporary and historical, educational, and visually exciting.
